Whilst on placement, individuals will be allocated to a Medical Consultant who they will shadow as they carry out their duties within the hospital. Dependent upon the area and specialism, individuals will observe a range of activities in order to gain an appreciation of the medical role and the diversity of tasks undertaken. All patient facing activity will be subject to patient approval.
