PLACEMENT INFORMATION:
Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function to as near normal as possible when someone is affected by injury, illness or other disability. The Physiotherapy Team at County Hospital Louth and Skegness Hospital specialise in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy, treating injuries and conditions which impact the muscles, joints, and soft tissues. These can include:
• Back pain
• Muscle strains
• Ligament sprains
• Arthritis
• Pre- and post-surgery rehabilitation
• Fracture rehabilitation

PLACEMENT DETAILS:
Whilst on placement, students will observe patient assessments and treatments. Treatment may include: manual therapy, electrotherapy and exercise prescription.
