PLACEMENT INFORMATION:
The radiology department at Lincoln County Hospital provides general x-ray, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), fluoroscopy, ultrasound and interventional services. The department has of April 2015 moved to using digital radiography (DR) equipment in all of its rooms and for mobile radiography.
PLACEMENT DETAILS:
Whilst on placement, the individual will shadow a member of staff, assisting where appropriate, and observing their day to day duties. Full details of the placement schedule shall be provided prior to commencement. Opportunities may include within the following areas:
- MRI
- Room 2 – Screening Room
- A&E X-ray
- General X-ray
- CT Control Room
